Hiya Dont take this serious...this is a painting i started about 8-9 years ago, while I was still a young and innoscent kid I worked ot it for about 2 years I guess, and It was nearly the only thing I was drawing at all...It took me so long because I developed as I worked on it and I was redoing the parts I didnt like all the time...untill a moment I could not continue because the tempera screwed up and started to crack The paint is about 0.5 cm high.well,I guess that's the story of it.A wip that will stay a wip forever.I abandoned it long time ago, there are many many mistakes that I can not possibly fix.But I still like it.It's got some nice places that I wouldnt change even now, good detail and stuff...Appears that i had some really nice ideas as i kid.and patience

It looks cool, and as a work I can't see anything much that needs fixing.
my thought is just add colour for a celling, a floor, and finish the part at the back and call it a work of art.
As you say you have developed as the piece progressed, I think it is one of those pieces that just about everybody should have some where in their works that shows a "time" that describes or remembers your talent (expression) at a given time. That in itself is really cool given that everones expertise comes from their experiences, influences and past. Even if you don't finish it, I would keep it safe.
Given the write up you gave, I look at this in a very different light as to what I normally would.
(excuse my somewhat emotioal post, haven't had my morning coffee yet.) |
