This is a sketch for a painting (oil) I'm gonna do of myself. It's only my second oil painting and my first original. I'll post progress of the actual painting later. or now I'd appreciate any feedback on the sketch. I drew it by looking in a mirror with no photo reference.

It's a solid sketch, but you've drawn yourself lopsided... flip the image in an image editing program, to see what I mean. When it looks natural to you after you flip it back and forth, go forward with it.
This will make a great start for a great portrait painting. Great job! |

I think you've done a great job here, however the eyes look a bit odd, to me that is. They kind of look like they're looking in opposite directions. Thats my opinion at least. |
