I've been lurking around here for far too long. Just lookin around learning how to paint by observation alone.
Putting lazyness aside I've decided to start pulling out old unfinished drawings and ideas. I have much to learn and i'm prepared to do so.
This is somthing I just started working on. A simple drawing that i'm using to practice lighting and so forth. I wasnt going for proper atonomy or anything like that but if you have any pointers that I could use in the future i'd love to here them =)
Anyways, what you think so far?
My main problem at the moment is the pants. Trying to get that leatherish look.
help!

i think you might want to give that chick some longer legs. unless you want them to be stubby. i think for the look you're going for maybe you would want the leather more contrasty? so it looks shiny. kind of the trinity's trenchcoat from the matrix.
