Well done, good anatomy, cool idea! But I'll get right to the interesting part, the advice:
Try to line up the eyes so they're level and symmetrical.
The shadows in his face aren't really working, try to think more of where the light is coming from and which rays would hit which part of the face.
His left shoulder seems pushed in towards the body. The left upper arm seems to short.
The perspective on the axe isn't working, it seems tilted away from us, while the hand is tilted the other way. |

Thanks, Steve. Yes, I have to fix the axe, I was looking at it for so long and not realizing what was wrong until you pinpointed it, thanks! The hand is one way and the scythe blade another kind of like making an "\ /" effect when i need correct perspective "/ /".
I did the face rather quickly in a comic book type style, just as most of the body with hatching strokes, but then I decided to color it somewhat traditionally where I will be shading over the hatching strokes unlike most of Jim Lee's work where the inker leaves the black hatch strokes from the b/w inking. The choice I made to color it that way sort of "threw out the window" the need for all my hatches other than for shading guidelines when coloring.
Thanks again for the advice, Steve, it will help me out a ton ! |

The pose looks a bit flat, maybe trying out new different perspective might help. |
