Ok, I started painting a little on this, and I cannot get the lighting right at all! I want to go to deep darks next, but since my light is not right it makes it not work at all!! I'm trying to get away from straight coloring, but keep the line art element. So I want to get away from previous stuff I have done like this.
Anyway, I need some suggestions on where to go with this. Thanks!

Well I should probably wait for Spooge to post hehe, but in case he's too busy right now, here are some quick changes I did, hope it makes sense.
