I've always thought that the toothy-tongue thing looked rather comical. I think the Alien looked more sinister with his mouth shut.

Piece of trivia: the front of the alien's head is based on a <human> skull. Go figure.

I really like the pose of the second one just like everyone else. What I do find interesting aobut the first on is the texture of the skin, almost tree bark like.

Finish these up some more they look good, and I agree the mouth closed looking like a stalker is much more sinister.

the pose of the first one is weak, but the 2nd one is cool! how about drawing the tongue-mouth dropping out towards the camera if you get to paint it?

yeah i like the pose on the second one.. the head looks cooler too.. i wouldnt draw the tounge-mouth thing tho... i think it comes up in most alien drawings now and it would be cool to see something different...
