People hi!
This is the last drawing I'm working on and I'm in need of some things : Advices and parter.
If you have any advice on this drawing on colors I could use, details or other, don't hesitate to comment. ( note : don't be bothered by her knees. Only the knee pads are low )
About partnership, I'm searching for someone who would like to draw the mecha against which she is standing. There is no constraint except that she could fit in. I admit that my skill at drawing mechas is not sufficient for doing that.
Thanks to all of you for any help you can provide me.
If also you're interested in helping me out, I have high-def scans of this picture, without pencil traces ( only ink ).

Looks like you have a good start here. I will impart what observations I can:
Her pose does not lend itself to the 'leaning' idea, she seems a little too 'at attention' or rigid. you may want to try adjusting her pose so that there is more of a weight shift and that she is more supported by the mecha.
Anatomically speaking the legs seem odd...too short? the hands are a little small.
Other than these crits its got some nice rendering, I like the hair.
Hope this is helpful...cheers. |

the legs are definately too short, and the hands and feet are also too small. the average body is six and a half heads tall i think, and more heroic ones are taller. even for an anime drawing with a large head, the upper body is shorter than the lower body(not sure on exact lengths of this). her right hand would be curled more inward towards her body, it think. im not a fan of the pants shes wearing but that is purely my opinion. she also has broad shoulders, shes one buff lady ![](images/smiles/icon_wink.gif) |

Well, I know it's fairly basic and probably way below your level, but here's a tut about mecha drawing...

Hi!
In fact you're all right about the legs that are too short! That is hy I've corrected that through photoshop. I agree also that the shoulder might seem a little too broad, but that is a deliberate choice!
anyway, here is what that looks like now!
I'll go and look that tutorial!
Anyway, continue your comments they help me a lot. By the way, which hand seems too small? |
