I was rooting around some old stuff of mine and I found this sketch I did about a year ago.

Anyways, I thought it would be a good idea to color it. I've been working on this for the past 1 1/2 hours.

I think i've suceeded in adding more definition to the shapes and enhanced the lighting some. I'm unsure as to what should be done for the background.

here's another update.

i worked on:
-removing line.
-the space behind the monkey's left foot and hand.
-the large yellow dog's feet.
-adding more definition to the table that the stuffed animals are on.
-kinda fudged around on the background.

I'm doing this as a learning exercise, so any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.

i only saw the second one, and it looked a little ummm.. messy. but i like the colors. its weirdly cool.

love it! the sketch was really hard to understand at first but the third one made perfect sense.. I really love the shading and the great colours.. excellent work

I need help on figuring what I should do to the background. I'm thinking of putting books back there. Maybe on a shelf of some sort. Any ideas?
