i started this self-portrait the other night, using only a hand mirror, my tablet, and photoshop. i want to do more for it; however, adding glasses is difficult with the weird lighting and that very same weird lighting is attainable only when it is dark night (hence, no daytime work). any comments, suggestions, debates, or anecdotes are welcome.

that looks pretty good to me right now. i can't think of anything constructive to say, but it looked like you needed more than zero replies. |

i did a little work on it today... the glasses were giving me some problems so i just decided to reflect what was actually being reflected, the computer screen. i think i will probably brush over it to give a uniform feel, but here is the process detail:

I like that alot.
i don't know if you should add glasses to your pic. i think it looks fine without it. I also think that you should give some attention to the background (and not leave it that dull flat color). ttfn -a ta for now |

hmmm.... well, regarding the glasses, it is a self-portrait, and i wear glasses; so i felt they were appropriate if not necessary. the background is just a neutral backing thrown up so i can work against something other than white. as per your suggestion, i will make sure to do something with it. |
