Hey peeps, I can tell just by having a quick 5 minute scan of these forums that you all are very talented artists. Well i'm not, i'm not too bad i've designed popular websites in the past that were very aesthetically pleasing. I'd have to say tho that my real talent lies in programming. In a couple of months time I will be setting up a website based upon programming mods for first person shooters. Now although i'm not really seriously starting yet I am starting to think about how the page logo is going to look. Can anyone give me some inspiration here, i'm slightly stuck for what to do. I usually make the logo first then design the site around it. I've made a graphic already but thats exactly what it is, it wouldn't fit into a website design. Any ideas, or perhaps what you would do would be greatly appreciated. Umm i;m in the middle of setting up a free account so I will post the pic l8er when i've uploaded it to the internet.

Welcome to the forum... albiet it appears to be a long time between postings (August 2000). Anyhow I couldn't see the picture and if you are looking at logo design, a good place to start is a bookshop which will undoubtedly have books on just logo's and you can get plenty of ideas from these.
