I'd recommend working on proportionals and element placement before you start getting so serious about the details. The face is quite a long way off at the moment, if you get it all finely rendered now it's going to be very difficult to fix later.

I recommend watching less Survivor: Australian Outback, the aussie outback survivor is done, start concentrating on African art for Suvivor III ![](images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif) |

Coming along mkay for the time it took you, but your proportions indeed do need some work, note this about the eyes: the eyes, in about 99.9% of cases fall exactly halfway down the head (NOT including hair), and from your angle I'd say about a 30 degree ellipse value in the middle(0 on it's side . I say this because right now they don't seem to be matching up at the right angles, note the tilt in the head: parts seem to tile to different perspectives, they will do naturally, but the cheeks and jaw are going to a different diection hn the forehead etc. I think his will look pretty well when the eyes are sorted, and after all they are the hardest part to do.
