after doing some reading on vangogh's blue period i was inspired to do a little blue myself. . however im not sure this is coming through the way it should.. im sorry if all of you think this is junk, which very well could happen.. it's supposed to be a beach, i was planning on putting a guy barefoot squatting in a towel like robe thing, but i dont know if its worth it.. anyway, i guess this post is a "should i scrap this or not?" post.. please let me know. any other comments or suggestions are more than welcome too..
since when i post the image using the UBB code it doesnt work i guess ill just put the link up, the image is at http://odin.prohosting.com/overex/inprog1.gif but i think youll have to type it into the address box.. god i hate prohosting!!!

Thank You

The waves and sky look decent, though a bit blurry... The color and saturation of the beach don't look quite right, though. Depending on your lighting situation, it would either be much yellower (natural sunlight), or much bluer (ambient sky light). It's kind of a mucky green color right now, which just doesn't seem to fit. The saturation seems a bit high, too. Try pushing it towards more of a neutral grey, and make it something other than green, and I think your beach will look a lot better.
