I'm getting a little better with drawing the head and its structures, but I've never been any good with rendering my artwork in color. Just rendering in greyscale gives me trouble at times. Just one of those things I really need to work on. I'm sure once I get a method down that works for me I'd be able to finish/post more stuff. If I ever finish anything it would be a freakin' miracle.

I think the color one looks pretty good I would just study some oil painting books and really learn how to put other colors into the face.

The face should have many cool and warm areas on it so study the face hard.

Ugh, this is one of those ones that I look at after having been away from it and just think it should be trashed. It is amazing how many things I see wrong with it after looking at it again. Oh well, its the effort that counts...maybe.

I see what you are saying and I have been reading about that. I think I'm going to stick to getting tonal vlaues correct before I start messing with color theory. Although maybe it isn't a good idea to take it one step at a time. Hmmm. Anyway, back to the drawing board.
