my first sketch..i need help so give me as much advice as possible

You need to post images in "web friendly" formats, that is either JPG(JPEG) or GIF (some even support PNG). Plus, I think there is even a permission problem with the directory you might want to be sharing access to.

For a little more web-friendly post, import the pic into just about any image manipulation software and resize it to usually no more than 700 by 900 or so and set the resolution at 72 dpi for a smaller file size. That will make it easier for viewers to see and comment on the spot. Meanwhile, you might want to break down the individual shapes of the mech', figure out where you want the horizon, then use a little perspective to give the thing the illusion of size (there is a good discussion on perspective at elfwood.com's FARP). A lower horizon (looking up at the objct) usually portrays a little more drama.
