hi. I've been a member for some time now and watched a lot of inspirational work from many of you.

I'm working mainly as a 3d artist and I havent painted much at all. I always thought of the 2d part as something that is beneficial in the process of making 3d imagery or animations but also something that kinda felt like when you had to do your homework but wanted to get down to playing videogames, or something like that.

but lately when some of you just kept throwing out stunning artwork I was inspired and motivated to start. and what can I say, I havent had this fun when doing 3d as far as I can remember. painting in photoshop was more creative freedom than I first thought, and I'm hooked. now, since this is one of my first attempts on something with colors , I think of myself as a newbie. hope I can get some input from you pros out there. be nice

thanks.

hey daryl.
long live 3d i say. heh
fight the power.

it is looking good. specially the tube thing. um, just work on your forms, and you may want to use a larger brush to get the color down faster.

later,
pete

thanks everyone, didnt really know what to fix on the image but I do appreciate that you guys say something at all

zeebit thanks, I assume the forms was the biggest thing to fix on this pic, having it look less flat. and I dont know if I managed or not, but I will post the finished piece in a few mins in finished work section..

ian: yes I do have pointy ears, I also have tubes coming from the back of my head.

anyways, thx.

welcome into the fray, fresh meat.

act cool, i'm just so sick of all those new kids storming in and the most intelligent and smartest comment any of them has made so far was something about a "queer fag" ...
