| the edges of the fire are too sharp/pixelated. and the devil needs some tweaking as well. maybe just even smooth out the colour blocks to start. the writting is dope though, nothing much to say about that. |

lol .. this is so funny ... maybe throw some more light in the image ... it's kinda dark. The zone around the angel should be more shiny

Very nice, it's very much like Daim's work. I think the fire IS way too sharp, especially when compared to the glow of the angel.

| yeah i know, i tried a bunch of different stuff for the fire and it all looked like crap.. kinda like that. does anyone know any way to make it look better? i dont think i want it to be realistic looking, but just less crappy than that. im also thinking that adding some orange tinged backlighting from the fire would be kinda cool |

armed with a reference pic of fire i worked on it some more. unfortunately the balance of power has swung the devil's way and now the angel kind of looks weird. also i think im going to play with the contrast settings because the jpg looks too red compared to the psd.

Let's make the angle not look like a wimpy girl and rather, a kickass just as buff with a kickass sword guy that looks kindof like that there devil, only in a kickass robe.
That makes it awesome, haveit shootin out some lightning too.

nice improvement on the fire. i like the concept and execution on this piece...its got a funky 3d feel to it. sweet!
