I am a traditional wet media artist with a lot of experience illustrating with Photoshop but I am trying to teach myself Painter 6. I am afraid its not going well. Does anyone have or know of some good Painter tutorials?
General advice is also appreciated.

Quite difficult to find really useful tutorials for painter6 imho.. The ones I've visited are either too simple or too technical without any relations to the "drawing/painting" subject.. :/ I guess it's always a matter of personnal cooking. I had a good time reading Painter 6 wow book on the other hand.
I use Painter for the roughs and general composition,I still have a soft spot for photoshop :)...
and before we're transferred manu militari to the discussion forum :), I'll add that I'd really like you to post your site url when you find a host because I'd frankly like to see more of your stuff !

Looks like you've got a better handle on Painter than me!

Thanks, I check those out today. I'll post the finished painting in the Finished forum in a couple of days.
If you want to see more of my stuff (SoMK) I'll post some more stuff until my company site goes live again in the next week or so. My art site should go live next month depending on the amount of time I have to work on it.
