Well, I finally took the plunge and started on a drawing with no reference at all - it's not as accurate, but so much more satisfying nonetheless - even at this stage I'm more chuffed with this work than many of my finished photo reference pieces.

Anyway, on to the point of this point..

I've blocked in rough colours in the upper body, but before I go all the way, does anyone have any screaming problems with the anatomy of the model. I'm having real trouble with the chest so if anyone could sketch a few lines here and there to point me in the right direction I'd be really grateful.

Here it is so far - about three hours worth.

I'm no Master Jedi but May I try ? :)

At first, that's a highly uncomfortable position, I've tried, it is hell !

and I do see a few glitches here but as my english sucks and drawings are worth 1000 words (at least mine)...

I just got rid of the cloth, lowered and rotated her chest hence foreshortening her left arm...
and snapped her neck back into place (I hope.. so sue me)

Still, with no referrence, it's a good job but I do believe references are good ! :p

Thanks for that diagram - it's cleared a few things up straightaway. Hopefully I'll have it finished pretty soon.
