So anyways I sat down at the wacom again. I only have it for a few days. This is what I came up with:


I think its turning out ok but I need a little bit of help. Each time I try to ad a evil face I just cant seem to get it right. another thing is the branches. they seem a bit awkward. any suggestions? Also he is supposed to be pulling himself up a hill with his roots and his right hand. Unfortunately it looks like he is hanging of a cliff with his right hand. help?

All the branches seem to be going directly to the left or to the right. Try making a few that come towards the viewer, and a few going the other way.

You might want to add some shading at the bottom of the hill, as well as adding more shading to the tree itself. If the tree is pulling it/himself up a hill, he should have strong shadows on its underside, as well as on the ground underneath that side. I didn't realize he was climbing at first. I thought he was throwing a rock.

As for the face, I don't know. I'm not good at applying human faces to non-human objects. Then again, I'm not too good at applying human faces to human objects either. :)

ok so heres another attempt at making it look like the tree is climbing the hill. Im having a tough time making it look like a hill. please give suggestions. I would reall apreciate it if some on would give it a five minute work over to show me where im going wrong. Thanks
