Hey guys,
Yeah, I know I havent posted anything in months and months, but I'm busy ya know? :)
Anyway, finally got a little tablet to call my own, so here's my first tablet drawing so far (about 40% done). It's for a gamebox project for school, the game is Unreal Tournament, and he'll have a body when I'm finished :P
Anyway, what do you think? Please please I NEED comments!
PLEASE NOTE: This is scaled down quite a bit, so half of the nice brush detail is gone. Oh and also, I KNOW some things are probably a bit wrong and crooked, I was much too lazy to use any sort of people reference.
*sigh* it says I'm a junior member, this is awful...DHABIH FIX MY OLD ACCOUNT :)

what are you talking about , WiP is the first and sometimes only thing i browse through. i much more prefer to see concept sketches and half finished stuff then to see final products. i mean sure the final products are awesome but i really much more enjoy the WiP.
my crit is only that i think he looks to stretched out length wise. and that it is lacking in detail. please finish the metal, i would like to see how you would do it. |

Nice Scoop! Glad to hear you got yourself a tablet! =)
The guy looks good, but I would probably get the whole picture going -- proportions, environment, lighting before going into too much details with one single part of the image that might end up feeling needing a change later on because the rest may not fit well with it, etc.

Thanks for the comments guys
Frost: just a note, there's not gonna be any background (maybe after i have time, but this thing is due tomorrow :) so I have taken that into some consideration and always do backgrounds before the character, when I actually have backgrounds, which is almost never, damn :) As for proportions, I think I'm just gonna wing it, again, pressed for time, but anyway, I'll post the whole body guy as soon as its done, which should be tonight or tomorrow, ok?
