I would rather have laser cut. My friend has a titanium-alloy katana that he bought for 27 g's. Not only is it ding/scratch-proof, it's also sharp enough to cut a razor down the edge. Literally.
You know, it's Japanese tradition to never sheath a warrior's sword until it's bit blood. Otherwise you get bad luck for the rest of your life, and your own sword will cause your death. |

When inside a building samurai would usually place their katana on some sort of rack. However, they would always carry their wakizashi. They would sleep with it next to their bed. |
