This looks a bit like the background (sans trees) in the landscape Sarge posted last week. I think you definitely need to add a foreground of some kind.

Oh, dear. Just looked at that Sarge's landscape ...

That's uncanny. Almost scary. I'm off to add something to the foreground.

Yow, now that has impact! Impressionistic style. I like the way you that you don't deal with too many details. I've always admired impressionism.
