hmm.. i don't like it, sorry-

I think its way too complicated for a logo.

a logo should be simple and stick in your mind.

the one you have up there does not have any form i could remember, it does not represent something.

I would have to agree with nex.. It is really too complicated.. when you are designing it think of the final printing.

In printing, when you wanna make a awning with the logo, you want the design to be as simple as possible because the printers need to cut out the all the little lines paste them on the canvas. so the simpler the better.

I would simplify the figure alot. cut out some of the unnecessary lines in the middle section. Logos generally look as though they were done with a few simple brush strokes.

you also want something that the people who recieve this logo can actually use without having to pay a fortune for printing.

just think of it this way, the more lines in the graphic, the more expensive it is to print overall.

the logo itself is good... very neat layout and effective.. just needs to be a little more simple...

good luck

In my opinion Logos need to be:
1)Symbollic of something related to the product
2)Simple so that you can remember it easily
3)Simple so it is Scalable(down to small sizes)
4)Simple so it doesn't form a distraction to the overall layout of a page or anything that's going to have it.
5)Simple so it wouldn't look like an illustration that goes with a Type Logo(Text logo like coca-cola)

The logo you have up is again, too complicated. It an art sense, it is very neat. But as a logo, it doesn't seem to symbolize too much nor is it simple enough to retain in one's head. I like the fact that you worked in Black and White instead of color though. My two cents.

I personally don't like combining type and graphics for a logo. though sometimes you're forced to it. Once that happens, you'll need the two together to recognize the logo. Which I think makes things a bit complicated. Dunno how this relates to your logo though.

I agree with most above. A little too busy for a logo.

I think the quality of your line weight (thick/thin) could really be adjusted to make the logo "stand out" more.
