Hey just got an e-mail to download the beta... From what the e-mail said it's a 3D program... anyone know anything about this? If so can you tell me what you think of it. Want to know should I waste my time downloading.

Anyone want the addy to down load I can post it!

From what I know, it's a digital meeting place of some kind - with galleries and all kinds of neat stuff. There's an art gallery presented in 3D, among other things. Quite neat... I've been a bit part of the project.

It's a program for creating 3d worlds in www. Something like VRML but way more advanced. Unfortunately as of now the beta is PC only no MAC version. So i can't check it. But I hope thay will do better than MetaCreation and their www 3D plug-in.

ive played around with it a bit. im making a guided tour of my bathroom from a cockroachs' perspective...

--the navigation controls, and physics are bad. (i dont like everyone flying around). and looking up and down is a pain.
--the builder program, in its beta form?, is awkward. there is no vertex manipulation support!!!!!!! ug.
--i have not found a way to make acurate transformations (and/or transitions).
--you dont seem to be able to select faces or groups in the browser window.
--the info windows are clunky, and dont resize well.
--the triangle tool needs to be used to make triangle shapes; if you make triangles with anything else, they wont show up in the browser and will eventually corupt the file.

its a really cool application, i would think adobe would add vertex manipulation and a process for making exact transformations. but you never know, adobe could fuck it up.
