i've seen a some great work here, mostly 2d stuff. I thought i'd add a little flavor and post some of my sketches and ideas done with flash.
some basic info, both of these snippets were done in about an hour, everyframe is hand drawn using a wacom tablet directly in flash.
inspirations came from bill plymptons work and from actually working frame by frame. what i really enjoyed character animating this way was that I was totally free to do whatever i wanted.
while this style of animation lends itself to short, simplistic ideas and characters, you are virtually unlimited with what you can do.
for example, with the alien creature, it started off because i just wanted to animate a ball, then the tentacle came into play. animating this way has really let me look at the animation and have the animation and characters tell me what should be next.

Thats pretty good bro looks like u got morphing images and tweening down.
