Hello, not sure why I'm posting this cuz its not digital and its not going to be worked on again, but I learned a new understanding in this process... Here goes-
Done using charcoal on 22 x 30 paper, used a slide projector and a portrait placed upside down(didn't know at first) and blurred to the max. Scraped heaping amounts of charcoal on the paper(messy). Started by working in the general shapes (with eraser) quickly and blurred the projector a little less every five minutes. About an hour later I figured out what it was and flipped my paper over this is what I got-
Gave me a better understanding of what people are talking about when they say- Start with big shapes and work from there. Just thought I'd share. It was a cool excercise.
And for the crummy texture: it was from the crappy table I was working on.
