well, i just got max 4 and i was playing with the DOF render passes and i got this, i want to make it into a proper scene, so if you all could tell me what you think would look nice i would be very grateful... cheers...

that's a nice looking scene..
The scale of the scene is a bit confusing- the dof effect makes it look as if it's a close-up shot of a small model or something like that, but the depth blurring and skies suggest otherwise.

Is that water in the foreground? I'd do a quick alteration to the color of the "grassy" texture map as it gets closer to the water. Vegitation tends to change frequency, type and color as it nears water. Just a minor change to give us a visual hint.

ok, i will be adding a character to the scene, the pipe will get a tap/faucet at some stage and i will be adding water pouring from the tap... i will change the texture so that it fades into a mud material nearer the water... and the dof/blurring will be reduced.... i think i will put some trees in the background also!!!
