Yep, I made my first 3d head, not that I would have want this head as my own, because , GOD it's ugly ..
I want to finetune it , but I think there are some things wrong with it. Especially the eyes, but I can't see exactly what.

It was made in Nendo, and when I subdivided it, it was not what It was meant to be, so I leave it so.. If someone has good tips, I will redesign the head and post it again.

The front of the head looks great and so well done, but the back of the head seems a bit too flat though, make it more circular and the upper lip is too big.. looking from the side it looks like he is saying "Duh". Fix those 2 things and it will be a great loking head. DOn't forget to give him an atoms apple

yo.
um, i have some thoughts...
first off, smooth it and turn off teh wire on shaded so we can see what is going on.
i agree with bubonic, but would like to add some stuff.
the eyes are too square. and there needs to be an overall increase in teh number of faces defining the form. make the model more dense and add detail while you do. you will be able to kill the square eyes, add some form to the nose and chin, and give the head a little character.
some more techinical advie would be to watch how your polygons flow.
this is very important. try and relate their flow to the human head as much as possible.
here is a link and an image i figured i would throw up...
a head modeling tut in maya, same principles as in any app. http://arrakis.gametome.net/head_tut_1/
and this may help in the understanding of the flow of geometry.
