Hey, people,
Go to http://www.3dpalette.com and read the interview with... Uh... I forget his name. But he works for Valve, and he talks about the new MRM technology, that permits them to have models that are up to 3000 polys and still have incredible frame rates. That's like ...life like stuff. And they use 5 256x256 skins on each model for incredible resolutions.
Man, oh, man, that game is gonna kick some ass!
Dhabih, what are your thoughts on that? And is that a lot more work for the artists? (modelers and skinners) They have to have 5 times the polys now. ![](http://www.sijun.com/dhabih/ubb/frown.gif) |
