Well, this is my first attempt at "painting" with photoshop. It's still far from done, but I'm loving the looseness of this style.

Not your typical cupid for sure, but maybe fitting for those of us who don't like the holiday anyhow.

Any advice, tips or critiques? I'm pretty happy with it so far, it being my first and all.

i think valentines day is a holiday, just like tuesday is a holiday... damn halmark !! anyway, the only thing that stands out to me is the round uniform brushstrokes in the blue of the sky, i would at least vary the sizes of them a little more, or blend em in a bit...other than that i like
