hehe, this is a REALLY stupid post, but I’m curious to know if the word...

starista

...means anything to you?!? I'm going to use it for the name of something that will be publicly viewable, and i don't want to end up naming it "I Screwed my Mother" in Albanian..

Anyways, i came upon the word "Starista" used in Finnish and Spanish web sites, though i was unable to find Finnish to English translator...

(ya i know, Americans are full of them selves, i wish learning another language was FORCED upon us. See there’s something to talk about!)

StarOsta means Elder in Russian
starista just sounds like mispronounced starosta. "Starost'" is when you get old and weak.

Hmm that’s interesting because after i researched a little more into the word Starista i discovered a site that had an ad for some old ass Star Wars game... And in the description for it i saw the words "Death Starista"(!!) The site had a 'www.asdasd.FI' (not the actually site address). Any ways, i figured this was a Finnish site...

It sounds like it means Star, which is actually sort of cool...i might use it afterall...

Thanks any ways for your help
