i just got a small tablet and painter classic. this was done in an hour off of a polaroid i took in sierra leone. the lighting is bad, i know. give me some tips if you've got'em.

i like the subject matter, i like the overall blue look too, but the lighting should have more contrast and finsih up the bg so one part could be darker and lighter to help get the lighting idea across |

ok, i tried working on the background a bit and i kinda went a little crazy with the paints. i totally changed the boys face now that i look at them together. i need to get better at imagining a light source not provided by a picture. i'll keep working on it though.
