Hehe, that's cool, it looks like he's stoked about learning a levitation spell. You have some good brushwork on the robe, so just continue that onto the rest of the picture. I think a background would help it, actually. And the way you have it cropped is pretty ackward. It makes him look like he's leaning on the side of the picture.

Here is a updated version of the picture. I changed the colouring on his feet, so it should be better now. I don't know if the face i finished (there's something about the nose), but the hair is still missing.
