Wow! I just found this forum and I'm impressed with the work I've come across so far!! I got bit by the inspiration bug and reinstalled my wacom pad. I figured I'd just put up a pic and get to know some of you. Glad to be onboard. I did this all in Photoshop. I think I need to get Painter

That's a very nice hand, prophet. Welcome to the boards.
Why do you think you need to get painter? |

Nice hand indeed!
Only crit is that I think the reflection on the disc is a little too defined... it should be less visible and much blurrier.
Photoshop works fine as far as I know (even though I've just invested in painter myself)

I'm new here too, i logged in three days a go and i've done 2 paintings (sketches) with my brand new wacom..
And i personally think that photoshop is much, much better.
Anyways, wellcome to board..

Thanks for the comments guys. I was just wanting painter for all the "natural" painting effects I've seen from it. I'll post more pics as I make them. Might be a little hectic for a bit since I'm selling my house and buying a new one Strata, I see what you mean about the reflection. I should have toned it down a bit. The highlights on the reflections are a bit too white.
Casey
