I warned you.
It's kinda freaky, no? When my friend's saw the picture they said I have serious mental problems. Well... whatever...
It's VERY unfinished, so I'd hope to get some crits, but don't tell me anything about the "hand" or "demon" being too smooth, I know, like I said, it's very unfinished.

Holy Shit!
To be honest my favourite part is the dress, it's got a really nice feel to it. My only other worry (other than the subject) is the background, it could be doing with a bit of texture.
Not a bad effort at all

its great! the blood could stand to be darkened just a tad. as everyone else said i really love that dress, its almost as if u could feel the softness of the fabric. that arm and the hair is nice too. keep it up!
tho i'd like to see u do something happy, just as a challenge.

Cool! I like it a lot. The blood does need to be a little darker; right now it looks more like bile. Heh, nightmare just reminded me of Dives. Would this be considered sensitive? :P

So, where's the symbolism?

Well, either you think symbolism as "symbols", or you're dense. Whichever. The symbols should be pretty obvious, the MEANING of the symbols might be pretty difficult to determine... but the symbols are there.
Hell, for those who are dense. The symbols MAKE the picture freaky.

Well, what I meant was that I don't see anything but hackneyed and clich images more common to a B-horror film than something claiming some sort of deeper meaning. If your only meaning is to be trite, then congratulations; you've succeeded.
Furthermore, it is terribly arrogant of to you assume that what you see in the image would be or should be obvious to everyone else. If it is so obvious, like you say, then why not enlighten all of us?
I may be a midgit, and I may have a fierce mullet, but I am not dense.

Overkill !!
In dark art - gore is not the key, go for something haunting instead - Instead of sewing all here eyes and leaving dangling bits of skin around her hands and mouth, try adding only one or two elements of gore, and leave everything else normal, dark, and moody pehaps (the color scheme is amazing)
That aside, it's a really good painting. Her dress really stricks the right note, very sinister, it has that "innocence and evil" feel to it - It evokes many feelings ...
Awesome work !

I am not enlighting you about what the symbols mean, cause what's the point in that?
I didn't say at any point that the meaning of the symbols is obvious. I just thought that everyone would notice them. Ofc, to tell the truth, you can pretty much ignore them for them being such a b-class like..
As for clichs, very true, very true, they're pretty much all B-class horror clichs.. I am sorry, but I have habit of doing clichs from time to time, heh... Althought this time I used jungian approach what they mean, clichs anyway.
Yes I know. All the gore and stuff are pretty disgusting, clich, stupid, old, and pretty pointless... but hey, I didn't want to do the kind of picture I USUALLY do... And who said it was DARK art? I said it's Disgusting
I could do of course a "haunting" version of her, I was actually consider doing one when I started her, but it is a bit too much effort to rework most of her. And then it would pretty much kill the reason why she exists.
But you really think I should lose all the gore [shrug] I just as might. I just thought all the gore and her eyes "sewn"(don't know if they really are together would be a lot more fun to draw than normal eyes or lips...
Yeah, I know, I am a freak.
Sorry, A.Buttle if I seem or seemed ignorant or arrogrant, I don't mean to.
