I am still working on coffee girl, but it's not looking pretty. In the meantime, here's a wonder woman image I'm mangling.
I'm ignoring realistic anatomical structure for now and concentrating on colors - trying to get more appealing skin tones. Comments?

Here francis, seegmiller has some usefull information about skin color/tone and what not. http://www.seegmiller-art.com/general_thoughts.htm
I think you need to expand your horrizons and find other colors in the skin rather then just the one... im babbling :B

I can say it enough times Francis: Be bolder with your colors! Go crazy with them. Cause you're erring on the wrong side of saturation. I know it's hard to see(cause I have the same exact tendency), but you've gotta force yourself. Make everything a bit brighter, a bit darker, and a bit bolder than you think you ought. This image's colors are definately better than usual. But we must go farther.
I really wanted to talk to you about the anatomy, but you had that acursed disclaimer in there. :]

Your faces are so harsh... the eyes often seem to be wide-open and staring straight ahead... it makes them look glassy and doll-like. That and the hard angles of the face can make them a bit spooky looking... which is what was bothering me about the latest version of coffee girl. You might try softening her up just a little bit. I know you like tough women, but a female character doesn't necessarily have to look mannish to be strong or tough.
The skin looks okay, but seems a bit pale and purplish. You might try a warmer shade with more orange... but that depends on what effect you were going for.
But don't get me wrong... I love your stuff. Just a suggestion.

I think if you want it appealing warm it up a lot more.
have a look at something like http://sunsite.dk/cgfa/bouguereau/index.html
everything is more orange and saturated.
your skin is very red and grey. making it look like she's dead even the places where bouguereau makes it look cool it's just by making things less saturated a little and changing the hue slightly.
warm is appealing, the blue red you have is less so.
played with a few adjust sliders
just warming things up a bit makes it look more "appealing" (to me anyways)
you know I love your stuff just trying to help |

I'm with Rinaldo, she's lookin' a little WASP-y there. Give her some color. The mid and light ranged colors in the adjusted picture are good, but the shadows are way off. Averaging the colors of your and Rinaldo's might give you a more realistic skin tone.
She is Wonder Woman after all. She's got to have a tan. Damn.

Geez Francis! You did that with your tablet, right? ...I wince with envy. I'll have to ask you about your natural media techniques sometime.
Nice work!
