been working on this pic all last night, but not satisfied with it. Anyone have some ideas on how i could fix this up?

I can just say add more details... and fix up the lightning (I don't like it)

Maybe add some more trees to that big empty spot in the middle also fix the lighting. How 'bout making the lighting running down his staff and through his body?

Well, whatever.
I see you changed the lightning. But now it doesn't look like a lightning at all.. more like some smoke... The light can be fixed too. I mean a lightning is the strongest lightsource in the whole wide universe. I think you changed the light since the last version. But it still looks like a candle is burning infront of him. A lightning would cast stronger shdows... I think

Sadly enough, the only thing i like is the rocks. Hehe, great job though. You may want to change his position. It looks like he's being a lemming and running straight off the cliff.

Thanks for the replies. couldnt read anything till now cuase sijun has been down. I did these updates while it was down so i couldnt take any of your advise. Im happier with it, but advice is still welcome.

Make it more dramtic! More action, more movement! More of that chocolate taste I've been looking for! Give me more! More! More!

Right now it looks pretty static, add some movement in his cloak move his position to a dramatic pose.
