Well, been painting all day, and just needed to relax. 10-second doodles really are fun..get ideas out nice an' quick and throw around compositional elements. I try to do these as much as possible...lately I've been doing alot of these simply out of boredom

Ah, might as well post the thing I'm working on right now. Going to be a Valentine's Day card...original res is 5000x6250. (the original sketch was just to get the basic composition down )

Any comments/crits/etc? Need this to be as perfect as possible for my girlfriend (it's pretty much my girlfriend as an angel, and me holding up flowers to her from the ledge [which is out of perspective, i know.. ])

If nothing else, this thread will at least serve as a place for me to dump my random crap as this picture progresses
