i'm trying to get rid of my bad habits when drawing anatomical stuff without reference

It would be cool if some of you could point some problems on this pic ; i feel a bit guilty coz i used a contrast filter on the pic but i think it came no so bad

I ve learnt a lot from this forum with my two last pics ; i would like to thank all people that helped me so far ; this place is really a motivation locomotive

pretty, Toast!

ok--you need to define the contour on the right side of the face (viewer's perspective)put in the cheekbone, and the place where the jaw curves in, if it's showing--everything else looks pretty good, except for the fact that the right side is kinda one long line--great job!

Hey i love the hair, you used some of your own brushes ? (i suppose 4 square with different alignments ? (en francais paske j'ai du mal, tu t'es cre des brush compos de points aligns sur differentes lignes ?)
i also agree witht he above comment, the right side needs to be more detailled, i also think thay there should be some sort of shadow casted on the extreme right side of the head from the hair.

but i really enjoy it so far

hmm.. i liked the first one better. the style is more original. my only gripe about that one is the mouth.. it's over to her right too much. either that, or you can't tell where her jawline is on ther left.

beautiful eyes! (2) i think i'm going to try that sometime, just using blacks and whites to make an effect like that.

as i said before, the second one doesn't appeal as much to me as the first. it's too subtle in my opinion. mebe you could combine them, like doing the second one in the harsh tones in the first one, and abiding by the second's face structure.

Hh ok i have started following lessons about painter yesterday and im gonna use it now, very cool for the standard brushes

I think your both versions are interesting, but its not really the same image , maybe just use the sharpness of the first version in the second and you will keep the best of each one ...

but great pics
