i hope the image is not to large, this image is of an industrial bearing. Not exactly what is normally seen here, being 3d and being industrial. i was going for a photographic look and unfortunately I've lost the file it came from so i can't soften it's shadow which is so sharp because the whole image used one point light. It was modeled in rhino and rendered in pov-ray. I hope you like it Comments are welcome. why am i posting here? because i'm going to remake it! hooray for spare time I'm also going to add some other machining tools around it so i'm looking for comments suggestions and ideas for "bearing mark2"
thanks

yah it needs some ground lights and i'll use a spotlight for the main light next time also i think it needs to be tilted what do you guys think of a split up on by it with the bearings on the ground and the rings sitting there? |
