hey all you digital artist or artist in general, i have been amazed in the work i've seen in the forum, simply amazed. one thing led to another, first i was inspired in a simple vector image i saw in a forum much like this one and decided to learn the art of drawing. i find myself here staring foaming at the mouth looking at all these amazing pieces of art.
i truely am inspired and want to develop my drawing skills to inspire others like you guys have.
i was wondering if you guys knew of any books, sites that would help me develop my skills. i truely look forward to the day i find a style of art that works with me.

There are lots of resources out there; let's start with one that has been floating around here for awhile: http://www.fineart.sk/anat.htm
Continue to browse the forum and search for technique and tutorials too. There's a lot of insite to be learned just from the insite some people give in their critiques.
Good luck and welcome aboard... no pun intended.

Please post in art discussion next time. As you can see by the header, this particular area of the forums is dedicated to finished art |

thx max, i really appreciate it.
i don't think i'll be posting my work up any time soon. i don't have a wacom, i need to invest in one though because the mouse doesn't really co-operate with me. lines become very jaggered
i'll be doodling though. trying out different styles and techniques. |
