Hi guys,Maybe this could sound stupid but, I have a wacom intous tablet and it was working great with photoshop 7.0 until today, when I work in ps, it doesnt recognize any pressure levels , its like drawing with a mouse.I have checked everything that has something to do with pressure is set to control, such as shape dynamics or scattering dynamics. I noticed that there is a small triangle on the left of the dynamics with a "!" inside, it appears when I set the control to any pen issue, but I tried to investigate and found nothing about it, heh.The pressure works great in painter, but when I switch to photoshop.....is gone. Maybe some of you may have had the same problem,If so, what could I do?
Thanks!

Download the latest drivers for your wacom. If those don't do the trick, I think there was something about deleting your wacom.dat file. Do a search on these forums for "photoshop 7 pressure" and you should get a few hits.

Hi inshield,

I had the same problem, but it was erratic and appeared off and on in the three versions of Painter (5, 6, and 7) and in Painter Classic.

I called Wacom Tech Support and we worked on it for a while. The final conclusion was to do what Torstein recommended: Install the latest Wacom driver and delete the wacom.dat file, then reboot.

I'm using a PC but understand that the wacom.dat file doesn't exist on Macs. I don't know what the equivalent would be, if any, so suggest that if installing the latest driver doesn't work, you might want to contact Wacom Tech Support.

Good luck, and if you are a Mac user and learn what, if any, the wacom.dat file equivalent is on Mac, please let us know.

Thanks!

Thanks Torstein Nordstrand and Jin for your support!
The problem is fixed now, I feel so happy!
Well, I installed the latest wacom driver for my tablet about a week ago (4.72-4 for GD tablets)( before the problem appeared ) and PS 7 and my tablet were working ok, but suddenly yesterday, the pressure problem showed up! so I didnt think that the problem could be the driver. But after I read your suggestions I tried re-installing the same wacom driver and nothing happened.
So I downloaded the same driver but this time was from wacom's europe site ( the english one )installed it , reboot and .....problem fixed! The problem was solved before I tried deleting the wacom.dat file.
Thats odd.I dont know what exactly was the problem with the first wacom driver I installed but it seems to be the problem.
Thank you Jin and Torsteind Nordstrand again. UK Drivers ROCKS.
( Heh, sorry for my bad english )
