When I start a project in Premiere and work on it, then save it and open it later on I can't see my tracks on the timeline anymore. They are still there because I can select them, but I cannot see them. It looks like this (before and after):

I tried several view settings in the Timeline options but it didn't change. Any ideas?

Edit: I noticed something else: after having saved once (and closed and opened premiere) the avi cannot be displayed in the clip-preview anymore - the program hangs up. Before saving everything works fine, audiofiles work before and after saving (eventhough I can't see them afterwards). Could this be a codec problem (divx 5.0.2)? but why would it work before saving, then? An online product update didn't resolve the problem.

PS: I did not alter the imported clips. All I did was to close and re-open Premiere.

That looks like an alien conspiracy to me ...

Just kidding ... not sure how much Adobe Premiere help you'll be able to summon up in here though ... I use Premiere every now and again, but have no idea what is happening with your system ... It could be hardware, or it could be your video format, or, most likely, your Premiere program files are somehow damaged ... try reinstalling Premiere and see if the problem magically disappears ... you might be lucky ...

If not it might be time to call the Pros ...

ok, thanks. I guess I'll try and re-install (didn't do anything with it yet so no damage done YET)
