Please post more of these!
I don't have time to check the archives for the really good ones. Anybody who has some bookmarked, please post them! Those of us who have not been here that long will be blessed by your generosity!

Thanks a million, man.
Seriously, that must have taken a long time to compile. I for one appreciate it a great deal. |

Don't thank me, thank Dhab, or the great artists here who tolerate our bullshit and give great advice
Here's some more. Despite what people say about the state of the forums lately, there are some very good ones. These are very recent, within the last 3 months. It's hard to draw the line. There are a lot of threads that are excellent, but that don't give any general advice. Or great crits, but they are too specific or the images are broken. Anyway:
Life Drawing Tips
Starting in Oils
Criticizing the Work of Other Artists
Vintage Color Excercise from Spooge
landmaster Gets a Paintover from Stahlberg
Modeling Video from ambient-whisper
An eyewoo Painting and Some Good Crits
A Step-by-Step Oil Painting Image from Ron Lemen
More from Ron
Character Sculpting Tips
High Key, Low Key, High Contrast, Low Contrast
The Escape, or How to Add Color to B+W Drawings
Experiments in Lighting a Girl's Face
Pushing the Eye Back in Profile
Lighting Advice from Pro
Another Pro, Step by Step
One School Can't Do It All
That's enough for now.

This thread is a blessing! It should be ahead of all the forum threads! |

It is amazing to see just how many of these I missed even though I frequented the forums during these times. Thanks for taking the time to find these and post them. |
