Hi Everyone.
As you can tell by my post count, I'm very new to posting on these forums. I have been lurking for awhile, but haven't yet posted any of my work (I'm far too critical of myself).
If anyone would mind helping me out, I would be most grateful for it. I am planning to start using a Wacom tablet, and I would like some expert opinions, if at all possible.
I am torn between two sizes of Intuos'. I am going to choose between the 6x8 version or the 9x12. Cost is NOT a factor. I don't mind spending more whatsoever if it means convenience. I will be using it on a regular desktop computer.
What I ask is, from your experience, would the larger, 9x12 be more efficient? Or is the 6x8 more comfortable to use?
Thanks very much in advance, I hope to hear from you soon.

J... that's going to be a judgement call. They're both great tablets, but you'll get as many people telling you the 6X8 is enough while the rest will say go for the 9X12. Is there any way you can get your hands on one or the other to feel them out? And the 9 will take up substantially more room on the desk if you're cramped for space. Just a thought...

Go for the 6x8. Even though money is not an issue, you'll need quite the desk to be able to house a 9x12 and a monitor in a comfortable and ergonomic way. The 9x12 is better for CAD applications, but a 6x8 is ideal for painters.
Going for a bigger one is usually a case of tablet-envy ... |

Heh, after reading this post I typed in http://www.intuos.com instead of wacom.com
I suggest you do the same and discover the real meaning of "pop-up-nightmare", "web squatting" and "spam-tastic". |

I'd go for a 12x12 personally. Thats what I've been using (well not at the moment, had to take the tablet back to school) but desk space isn't a problem IMO, just put the tablet on your lap (thats what I do). |

I got a 12x12 ArtZ II Wacom pad and am selling it to downgrade to a 6x8. The 12x12 is way to cumbersome for me. |
