hey all..

I am tempted to post some of my drawings from my sketchbook on the forums... only problem is I am not sure what kind of scanner I should buy...

... I know nothing about scanners.. price is not a concern (within reason, however)...

what are some good scanners and what should I look for when buying a scanner?

I want to scan in black and white and color pictures that I have drawn.. and maybe use it later for photorealism textures for video game mods and whatnot..

I'm just starting to look myself, and know nothing of them. The last time I used a scanner was years ago when it was either HP or it was shit. Is that still true?
