Funny you should ask, I'm picking up a graphire2 tommorrow. I'm on a budget at the moment too and I decided not to get an intuos. I've been using a graphire 1 for about 2 years and I have been very happy with it. Trouble was it was a serial connection and the system that I was using it on has finally blown up (not bad, I got 5 years out of it). So now I'm getting a graphire 2 usb for my new system.
I must point out that the resolution quality and pressure sensitivity of a graphire 2 is about half that of an intuos but that won't hinder you much. Really in the end it comes down to talent if you gave Spooge Demon a graphire 2 he'd still kick ass. |

BTW, does anybody know what tablet Craig uses? Craig?
About tablets: I got my Intuos 9x12 some days ago, it kicks ass. It's not only the size (I like the size cuz it's easier for me to make good lines), it's the pen that is really great! The graphire pens used to hurt my hands after some time, now with the new pen, it's much easier and the comfort is great! |

Hi!
I've got my Graphire for 4-5 months i think. If it's a money question, that's a good solution! It's A6, but I think it's all right...its not expensive!!!
And I like this a lot!! (If you buy it, could you just send me setup files as a zip...I've got problem with my CD, it doesn't work, and I just uninstalled drivers....) this was just a "if you want, and if you have got some time)

I'm pretty sure Mr. Mullins has mentioned that he's using the 18x12" Intuos 2 lately. |
