Hi all,
well I have been around for a bit reading, but not YET contributed (as soon as I get my images scanned...). I have Painter 7 and am rather new to digital painting. here is my problem: I am unable to use the help option because of a missing java class. Since MS no longer offers JavaVitualMachine (due to settlement with SUN) I am unable to load the help menu.
I am running XP, btw. Does anyone have the JVM on disk somewhere? (This might be a longshot). Does anyone else have this problem? Any ideas -- at all? 'Cause this kinda ... sucks. I ahve installed the JVE from SUN but no luck.
Well anyhow,
S |

Hi,
Your best bet is to contact Corel/Procreate Customer Support and ask them if they can supply whatever it is that you need. You can reach them by calling:
Corel Corporation 1-800-772-6735
Good luck, |

P.S.
I forgot to say that you can open the tutorials directly from your file manager. They're in PDF format. Also, you should be able to access Online Tutorials and Cher Threinen Pendarvis' Water Color Tutorials, via Help > Tutorials. If not, let us know.
Feel free to ask questions about Painter any time you need to. You'll find a lot of Painter 7 information on my site and also in the Painter Can forum at In Depth Discussions. Both URLs are below my signature.
Hope this helps, |

Thanks Jin,
Thanks for the number. I have found the tutorials. I can also reach each individual help pages vie IE, just the search/index java applet doesn't work. I'll try CS. Thanks
Sebastian
