I have tried doing this thing before and I will admit, I wasn't too effective in it. But I think I have reevaluated my approach and I believe I am doing it the right way now.

I am being straight up, take it or leave it.

I am a writer.

A no name writer.

But, I truly believe I have something that separates me from the massive sea of writers believing they can break into the industry.

What I am looking for is an artist. Someone who I can build and share with. Someone who hmay or may not have worked in this industry before. Someone is who is tired of the rehashed plot lines and crap art.

Someone who wants to create a truly magnificent title of high quality art with an intense gripping story.

My part is the gripping story.

Your part is the artwork.

I hear alot of artists say that they are tired of seeing these ads from writers who never post their own work. And I wholeheartedly agree.

So here is what I propose to do.

If this is something you THINK you maybe be interested in, EMAIL ME.

From there I will send you the plot/concept for the comic series.

You read it and tell me if it is even something you would be interested in doing.

If you like, I ask you to send me some of your work. If I like I send you the 5 page prologue to the story. ALL in comic script format.

The story is called The ShadowNight.

Excuse me, but I am EXTREMELY paranoid about people stealing my ideas off message boards so this is what I CAN tell you.

The concept is something like the Matrix meets the first two Batman movies.

It has the intense action sequences brought out through the Matrix, with the eerie , ominous atmosphere shown through the Batman movies. It also has a tinge of the supernatural.


Also I am thinking about creating our own city just for this project. I love creating things like that so I need an artist who also enjoys doing this.

The style I am looking for is very detail oriented. I was thinking of having it colored in a detailed painted style with very moody color schemes. Lots of mist, dark alleys, and smoky rooms in this title.

I think they already did that, the movie is called Dark City (although matrix is the latest, must have been one of those *wow, I dreamt a movie script last night*)
