I've never drawn fantasy creatures, so I started out with Funk Master Kane's Kiniya

I think I'm progressing good, no major flaws. I drew it on seperate layers, so I can mess around with backgrounds with out interfering with the character:

woah. you took that character farther then I have ever did, looks pretty good, but the face is a little manish.

I think i just might revive that character now ( she was one of my older ones, looking at miy site you couldn't tell that cause thats the only original pic I have had time to go back into photoshop and fix up.)

let me see the finished ver sometime, i was thinkin of posting it under fanart( fans art of my characters that is) if its ok with you that is.

Hmm.. all i gotta say it looks like a man hahaha... /me slaps self... WELL ITS TRUE Work on the face then when it feels female work on rest of body but i think its cool so far I can't wait to see it finished
